What is the plan inside rhodisha?
If the government does not have a house of its citizens living in the Odisha granite expanse or if they live in kutcha houses, then the government has made four types of plans inside the rhodisha to give them their pucca houses, which have been given below.

(A) Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana(Grameen)
Indira Awaas Yojana (IAY), the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Rural Development. India’s Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) has been reformed. Homeless poor families and those living in rooms with less than two nomenclatures are eligible to receive housing assistance for a minimum construction of 25 square meters according to the SECC-2011 survey. (B) Biju Pucca Ghar Yojana (BPGY)
The Biju Pakka Ghar Yojana is the state’s own flagship program. The scheme was launched during the financial year 2014-15 in place of the old scheme “MO-Kudiya Yojana” to achieve the objective of converting all calling houses into pucca houses.
Beneficiaries of both PMAY (G) and BPGY for early completion of the house have received incentive payments like expenditure, excellence award, preparation of IEC material, training of officers, cost of engraved logo etc. from this component.
Under this component houses are approved for the following categories of beneficiaries
- Rural / families affected by natural / man-made disasters like fire, flood, cyclone, earthquake, elephant danger, communal violence, major law and order problem etc.
- River, sea / deluge hunting, re-location due to government implementation. Project etc.
- The Scheduled Tribes Beneficiaries and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006.
- People affected by occupational diseases due to silicosis, asbestos and overuse of pesticides.
- Very poor, vulnerable and eligible householders who need a pucca house, but cannot be selected under other housing schemes.
(C) Pucca Ghar Yojana (PGY-M)
In all the raw houses residing in 691 mining affected villages of 08 districts. Angular, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Koraput, Mayurbhanj and Sundergarh have been given pucca houses under the Biju Pakka Ghar (mining) scheme on saturation mode. The scheme is funded by Odisha Mineral Bearing Area Development Corporation (OMBADC) and implemented by Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department.
(D) Nirman Shramik Pucca Ghar Yojana (NSPGY)
Building and other construction workers have a current valid registration with Odisha. The Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board is eligible for assistance under the “Construction Sharmistha Pakki Ghar Yojana” under the Building and Other Construction Workers (RER & CS) Act for a period of at least 1 year. The scheme is funded by the Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (OB & OCWWB) and implemented by the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department. The unit support and installment pattern is the same with BPGY beneficiaries.

All the above rural housing schemes follow a similar installment pattern.
The unit cost of each house is Rs. 1,30,000 / – for the 1830 IAP districts and Rs. 1,20,000 / – for 12 non-IAP districts. In addition to the above financial assistance, the beneficiary is entitled as a labor component under MGNREGS for 90 and 95 person days, respectively, in non-IAP and IAP districts. Apart from this, for the construction of toilets under the Swachh Bharat Mission, Rs. 12,000 / – is also sanctioned to the beneficiary. No middle man is allowed to build a house for the beneficiary.
